Grain Surfboard Construction

The wooden surfboard has been completed. It turned out wonderfully and has been a great project to undertake.

The final dimensions are 6'9" x 20" x 2 1/2" and it weighs in at 13.2 lbs (with fin).

I will try to get some action photos but unfortunately our main spot looks like this right now:


Anyway, here are some pictures of the finished product:

The deck: I installed the leash rope by drilling through the fin box and deck, pouring epoxy into the hole and then drilling a smaller hole back through the epoxy plug.
