At this point, the rocker table gets put away and the shaping stands come out...
This part takes a lot of work, so I sprung for the 16 oz Tall Boys for the next few sessions. First part is to take my trusty Japanese saw and cut off as much excess as possible. Then go at the excess with the even trustier 6" surform hand planer. The next step is to take my belt sander and run down the rails to fair it out a little better and then start sanding... And sanding... And sanding... And sanding...
